Cultivating Global Talent Through Multicultural Engagement
Kansai University is committed to developing truly global individuals equipped with a strong international mindset and advanced communication skills. To this end, the University is working toward the realization of an Intercultural Immersion Campus.
In our international student residences, domestic and international students live together, creating an environment where they can naturally develop diverse perspectives and communication skills through daily interaction in both Japanese and other languages. Each residence offers unique room layouts and shared facilities, allowing students to choose accommodation that best suits their lifestyle.

Experience studying abroad at home and build global friendships.

Developing the Ability to Connect with the World
We offer a unique human development program exclusively for residence students.
Within a diverse environment, residents learn to respect one another’s individuality and character while building broad international awareness. The program aims to nurture global talent who can demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and cross-cultural understanding.

What Is a Resident Assistant?
Resident Assistants support students in creating a safe and comfortable living environment. They assist with daily life, manage and operate their assigned unit or floor, organize events, and encourage interaction among residents.
Through their activities, Resident Assistants develop key skills such as a global mindset, leadership, communication, and planning abilities.

By being a Resident Assistant, I was able to nurture different values, broaden perspectives and become more of a global citizen.
It was rewarding to be able to create activities and events while bridging the gap between residents from different cultures and diverse backgrounds.
It’s an intimate experience to live together in the dorm and so many exchanges can be made on a daily basis without even realizing it.
Through practical experiences such as event planning, taking meeting minutes, and working with office staff, I developed a number of new skills that will be helpful in the future.
