Cultivating Global Talent Through Multicultural Engagement

Kansai University is committed to developing truly global individuals equipped with a strong international mindset and advanced communication skills. To this end, the University is working toward the realization of an Intercultural Immersion Campus.
In our international student residences, domestic and international students live together, creating an environment where they can naturally develop diverse perspectives and communication skills through daily interaction in both Japanese and other languages. Each residence offers unique room layouts and shared facilities, allowing students to choose accommodation that best suits their lifestyle.

What We Expect from Residents

  • To actively engage with both fellow domestic and international student residents through meaningful interaction and exchange of ideas, while embracing diverse cultures and values in daily life
  • To respect human rights and value cultural diversity by actively engaging with differences in ability, gender, sexual orientation and identity, age, educational background, social experience, nationality, ethnicity, religion, language, origin, and culture
  • To respect each individual’s character and uniqueness within a diverse community, and to refrain from any form of discriminatory language, behavior (including teasing), or harassment
  • To actively participate in the University’s development programs and residence-based activities
  • To be mindful of communal living and adhere to all residence rules

Resident Assistant's Voice

レジデント・アシスタント
“An international experience at an international dormitory!
Learn more about the world and its cultures”

By being a Resident Assistant, I was able to nurture different values, broaden perspectives and become more of a global citizen.
It was rewarding to be able to create activities and events while bridging the gap between residents from different cultures and diverse backgrounds.
It’s an intimate experience to live together in the dorm and so many exchanges can be made on a daily basis without even realizing it.
Through practical experiences such as event planning, taking meeting minutes, and working with office staff, I developed a number of new skills that will be helpful in the future.
